Snapchat rolled out some major user friendly updates today. The biggest change, “Tap to View,” ends an era of tired thumbs. Simply tap to watch your friend’s snap or story.
Another new feature allows you to quickly add contacts. When you’re with your pals, open “Add Nearby” and a list of your friends will pop up so you can add them with a tap.
“Snapcodes” got a major face lift. Users can personalize their “Snapcodes” by uploading a selfie, and if you see a “Snapcode” on an other site, screenshot it to add the contact through “Add Friends.”
Lastly, and probably most importantly, Snapchat beefed up its security with two-factor authentication. Make sure to enable this feature to avoid hackers.
